Dear Daroga, Just wanted to say that you're probably my favorite character in RM. You're level-headed, unlike the other guys, who sword fight to the death (or as close to death as ghosts can come) at masked balls and pull all kinds of pointless stunts. You're rational, kind, and quite handsome. Thanks for adding some common sense to the story. And now for an actual question! You've recently been thrust into a new time period. If you could jump into any other time in history, what would it be? =)
Dear Sideways Smiley-Face, At this point, I would very much love to just go back to my own time... perhaps with a certain person from this time on my arm. The Daroga

Dear Daroga, Hello Daroga...I had read your other letters and I feel like I should apologize for being one of those people that pretended to be Kevin....that was the result of a friend and I being on a sort of sleep high and we thought it would be a fun prank, sorry about that. ^^; You aren't too mad with me are you? Sincerest apologies Tabby
Dear Tabby, I do not get angry easily. Just exhasperated. So, no, I am not mad with you. The Daroga
~~~
Dear Daroga, Just to let you know...this question is probably going to sound a little weird because I'm on sort of a 'lack of sleep' high if you will. Or at least that's what my friends call it because I act like I'm either really high...or really drunk when I don't get my sleep anyways.... Do you believe in the Flying Mint Bunny? Tabitha
Dear Tabitha, ...No, I can't say that I do. The Daroga
Dear Daroga,
I think you are really cool. ~~Felicity PS: I want to be you for Halloween!
Dear Felicity, My wife died while giving birth to my son. The Daroga
Dear Daroga, How are you Daroga? I don't think I've ever asked you a question before, so here I am. My first question is,I know you don't seem like one who fights often...but you must know some form of self defense...besides fighting them with pure wit of course. and my second, You've stated before in another letter that Javert was I assume your favorite character from Les Miserables...do you have any specific reason? Other than the fact 'he was the law' to put it in Javert's words. Samantha
Dear Samantha, Why, yes. I am trained in many forms of self defense, but I believe in non-violent ways to solve problems. Of the many forms, I practise Varzesh-e Bastani. A wrestling sport-style that encourages the self to be pure and honest. It's techniques help me in non-lethal takedowns. Javert is somewhat of an inspiration not only because 'he is the law', but because of his unwavering belief behind it. I strive to remember this when dealing with my own real-life grey areas convieniently named "Erik". The Daroga
Dear Daroga,
I apologize for not reading the "ask guidelines" beforehand, and sent questions to everyone. Well, I'm straightened out now and I decided to ask you only.
Here's my "burning" question (forgive me, please for the subject): if Erik had been a woman, would things have been "different" between you two? IDQ
Dear IDQ, *Shudders* ...I-- *Shudders* No. Absolutely not. First of all, I am under the assumption that Erik (whom we shall call "Erika" in this instance) would still have the same personality. Which would make her a surly, conniving, murderous, and terrifying sort of woman. I would also be forced to assume that Erika would still have the same corpse-like deformities, and I am not strong enough of a man to be able to look past that... I still find myself cringing when I look at Erik even now! And Erik and I have always been, and will only be, at the most friends. I think, at the least stretch of my imagination, I would have been more impressed. Because as a woman, Erika would most certainly have been stoned to death in our time. So to survive so long would certainly be a feat. Let alone, to impress anyone as much as he does as a man with his magics and musics. *clears throat* ...Now, as for your second question, I have already answered this in the past. Keagan Michael Key. Dear Daroga, Are you fond of Azadeh? What do you think of her fashion sense? Was it hard finding a hat to replace your wonderful fez? Lily
Dear Lily, My hat was not difficult to replace, really. (Don't tell anyone, but apparently my little red astrakhan cap was indeed a fez... But I won't admit it!) As for Azadeh? ...Why, yes... she is very fashionable. She always manages to flatter her figure, and draw attention to the places she wants you to look. I... find her attractive, and stunning... breathtaking... I could say that... I am very fond of her. Very fond, indeed... The Daroga
Dear Daroga,
Most Noble Daroga,
Thank you for your consideration, P.S. I'm most like you, green eyes and all! :)
Dear Mlle. Watson, I thank you for your kind words, and I hope you'll excuse the fact that I find myself blushing as I write. I try to be the grounded one, as I realize that things are not always as they seem, and we must try to think things through from a withdrawn standpoint to truly grasp. But as for my religion? I do not follow anymore. I believe in certain aspects of many different religions; how could a logical man not? I cannot allow myself to believe that there is nothing out there, because then there would be no explanation for our circumstances. I believe there is a higher power, and my past beliefs have led me to believe in many a supernatural thing being true, but as for what is certain, I can never be sure without solid evidence. The Daroga
Dear Daroga, Why exactly are you friends with Erik? He tries to kill everyone, but you're all like "Erik's secrets are Erik's secrets"! I think you're cool. On a FanFic site, my profile is inspired by yours; The-Persian666. Felicity
Dear Felicity, Thank you, dear. I think I can be pretty cool, too. Well, Erik's secrets are his own; especially when it can cause people to get hurt if they push him too far. But at the core of it, Erik can be a good man. It's just the madman in him that seems to speak louder. I would like to believe that I am the balancing factor in it all. We've been around each other for many years now, and he will usually listen to reason when I talk with him. I wouldn't necessarily call us friends, but perhaps we're about as good as anyone can get with Erik. The Daroga
Dear Daroga,
Waasssup Daroga? Carpe diem! Camille
Dear Camille, I have been fine, thank you for asking. And when hasn't Erik given me trouble? The Daroga
Dear Daroga, Have you ever considered keeping things under your hat? Like, the Mad Hatter kept pots of tea and other assorted ceramics in his hat, and I think Abraham Lincoln kept important speeches and papers in his. Would you do that? And if so, what would you keep in it? AoKini
Dear AoKini, I had not thought of it, save for perhaps a handkerchief to dab sweat from my brow. But I suppose I could store all sorts of things in there, couldn't I? Hmm... perhaps a few books for when I tire of listening to Erik's ramblings. The Daroga
Dear Daroga, There are many secrets hiding within the world. And once in a while, people can doubt their closest friends. Do you think you can trust anyone- then and now? Kora
Dear Kora, If you are insinuating that I ever trusted Erik, then you would be sorely mistaken. I suppose the only person I have trusted utterly was my servant, Darius. The Daroga
Dear Daroga, Hello Mr.Daroga. Its a pleasure to speak to you!I was wondering, how did you end up tied to the Pole in Erik's Home?! I mean your a little to smart to get caught in his traps so did he kidnapp you or did you die and end up there?! Also It turns out from the Character quiz Im more like you! E.N.C.
Dear E.N.C., I rather awoke quite smartly in what I thought was my own bed. I could swear that my apartment was my own, that it was perhaps even the same day that I died. But I could not be sure, as I was suddenly much younger then when I had been alive. I can assure you, I had no idea what was going on when it happened. I left my home, I wandered the streets a while, and eventually I went searching for Erik. When I found him in the opera, he was just as confused as I, and much more angry. It was not difficult for him to trick me into having a laced drink, and I was quickly knocked out cold. I woke up days later tied to the pole. The Daroga
Dear Daroga, Have you seen Kevin recently? Do ya miss him?
LOL,
Dear Heather, Not in the slightest. Though I find it ridiculous how people have tried to annoy me with false letters from him. The Daroga
~~~
Dear Daroga, Why do you think Erik and Alex look so much alike? Also when did you first meet Erik? Brittany
Dear Brittany, I believe in certain things, and I have a suspicion as to why they look alike, but it could merely just be coincidence, I hope against hope that that is the case. I met Erik back in Nijni-Novgorod, during his stint with a traveling fair. I was sent to fetch him, and although it took several months to track him down, I can also say that in the long run, I am glad I did. The Daroga

Dear Daroga, First let me say our dear Daroga, thank you for reconginzing other parts of the last letter I sent the entirety of RM prior. I very much appreciated your keen eye and thought it was quite curtious of you. I don't know what you think of hugs but I would very much wish I could give you one for that. On another note, I was quite curious. What is your color or colors? I've yet to see mention of it so far and apologize if it has been asked and answered before I myself inquired. Lastly, what are your thoughts of the clothing pattern plaid and have your ever worn it before? Thank you for taking your time to review and potentially answer my odd letter. Danelle
Dear Danelle, My colour, my dear? Perchance do you chance to ask 'am I a winter? Or a summer?' If that is the case, then I would have to say I am an Autumn... though, I'm sure that is not what you meant. Plaid is the striped patter, yes? I have not warn it, myself, nor do I intend to lest I visit some country that required it of me. I much rather prefer the elaborate persian designs and the elegant french. The Daroga
