Dear Chelsey, What do you think about tigers?? Nelo Angelo

Dear Nelo Angelo, ...They're tigers? They used to be my favourite animal, but meh. Not anymore! Chelsey

Dear Chelsey, If you HAD to sit through an entire opera live in Paris with the gang, which would it be and why? Kayla
Dear Kayla, Any of them, really. I love opera. I don't think that would change based off of who I'm going with! But if I had to pick one, I do really want to see The Magical Flute, because everyone else says it's a great performance, and I've only seen bits and pieces on TV. Chelsey

Dear Chelsey, Dear Christine, How are things going with you and Raoul? Is he bringing you flowers? He should, flowers are so lovely. I asked Erik if he has gone out to see any musicals, have you? I highly recomend Les Miserables.

Dear Chelsey,
Hey how's it going? RANDOM QUESTION: pancakes or waffles!!!! lols XD
Your friend,
Dear Brittany, Awwww... Lame. I'm at the point where I wish Burton would just leave stuff alone. Labyrinth is amazing BECAUSE it was a Henson! I think I'd be okay if he worked on the sequel, but not re-doing it! Dammit, Burton... Mind your own damn business... *grumbly face* ...and neither. I have a very finnicky stomach, and both pankakes and waffles make me sick. I prefer yogurt. Chelsey

Dear Chelsey, What's the weirdest fan letter from Erik's mailbag that you have ever been allowed to read? I'm sure you get a lot of crazy fan letters among the RM cast, but I want to know about Erik in particular as I'm a fan of his and I don't want to freak him out. You, more so than Christine, seem to have a benevolent influence on him.
Yours Truly,
Dear Anastasia, He dragged me into the room once, he was concerned about "Security Precautions" and the "integrity of his home" because of this one letter from a fan who was apparently watching him sleep at night... I didn't know what to tell him! I'm not expert at that crap! *laughs* All I could do was make him a cup of tea and pat him on the back. Chelsey
~~~
Dear Chelsey, Ah, this is an odd question, but I saw that someone already asked the Daroga so I'll give it a go: Do you believe in the Flying Mint Bunny(jeez, I feel like a geek asking that XD)? If you don't know what that is, Google it. Anneka
Dear Anneka, Maybe it's just because I had fake cream in my coffee this morning, maybe it's because I'm not that into anime anymore, or maybe it's because I'm just getting sickeningly OLD... But I thought that was incredibly stupid. *Goes off muttering about kids today and their hippity-dippity hop and their wrap music.* Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Your hair is on a level of awesome that nearly surpasses Raoul's. It's so pretty! 0w0 I am jealous of how you keep it so lovely! Oh, and I saw you mentioned that your shampoo smells like coconut... You haven't been mixing your Pantene with Raoul's homemade stuff, have you? Cause apparently his smells strongly of coconut and he has no idea why... :o Also, what is your favorite book genre? Are you a Stephen King kinda gal? Or is, uhh, sparkley vampire more your style? Or maybe cookbooks? Haha! Sorry for the randomness, just trying to get out the thoughts that have been bouncing around in my head for a while. :)
Thanks for being awesome! Ps. I couldn't put love as my ending to the letter... It would just be awkward. I think. Or would it? I think I think too much. :p
Dear Annabeth, (Just so you know, I did edit the way you spelt my name. It's with a 'y'. Not an 'a'. ChelseY.) Nope, I haven't been mixing shampoos. For some reason I think that's like swapping spit. *laughs* I use Plain old Herbal Essences. The blue one. I like horrors in every form. I have read a few Stephen King, but I find he tends to ramble a bit. (And Twilight? Seriously. Gag me with a stick. The more Twilight stuff that shows up the more I think suicide is a GREAT option. Then I wouldn't have to listen to/read/watch or for that matter see countless reinventions and parodies of it anymore!) I like Anne Rice, really. And when it comes to cookbooks, I'd rather teach someone else how to cook it so that I don't have to. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, what do you do in a zombie apocalipse??? Zomboss
Dear Zomboss, ...I don't know if I should tell you... If you are the boss of the zombies, that would make you a spy! And I'm not giving away my secrets to the other side! (It's apocalypse, by the way -- but that only PROVES you're a spy, because Zombies can't spell!) Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Who would win in a fight? Pirates or Ninjas? A Curious Person
Dear Curious, Ninjas hands down. I don't even understand why it's a contest, really... Think about it. Pirates (especially of ol') were usually drunk off their asses! Ninjas are trained assassins. I don't think a drunkard with a dull sword would be able to best someone who's JOB is to murder people. Pirates only do it for fun or necessity. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Have you ever watched Jim Henson's Labyrinth with David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King? Just curious Serena
Dear Chelsey, Ah, it is refreshing to talk to someone as unique as I! Here is yet another question for you, as I have noticed that you have not recieved many. What do you think about the U.S. culture? I, as a United States citizen, find it quite funny when people refer to us as fat, lazy people. I can say that I don't think of myself as fat (my friends tell me that I'm like a stick figure), but I certainly am lazy. Must be in the genes. I have read your other letters and know that you feel angry when people insult you because of your home country. Yes, that is racism, and you probably acted like me years ago, but it gets old, right? Sadly, I have not studied much of your culture (or anyone's culture -- ooh, except the native people - that was manditory in school), but I am not one to make fun of someone because of their origins. To me, it's stupid and pointless. I only do it when the people I am joking with understand that I don't really feel that way and have that sense of humor. With that in mind, I will repeat my question; What is your thought on U.S. culture? ~~Felicity PS: Did you notice how I didn't say "American" culture? I hate it when people mix up "American" and "United States". :) @--- That was supposed to be a rose. Silly me.
Dear Felicity, See, now I'm forced to admit some of my ignorance, in that I'm not sure what you mean by "American" versus "US"... I'm going to assume, however, that you're referring to the fact that there's a huge difference between one state to the next, and these states include ones such as Hawaii and Alaska as well. If that is what you mean, then I can say that I rather like to study the various cultures in the US. I've said that the next language I'd like to learn is Hawaiian, just because it sounds like so much fun! And no, I don't think that the entirety of the US is made up of fat, lazy people. I spent quite a lot of time in the US, and some of the best people I know are there. I think that initial conclusion was came to by the statistics reported about the growing obesity rates. Canada has that problem too, and I would blame it more on trying to cram too much stuff into the day more than being lazy. People have so much to do (think soccer moms, for example) that they just don't have the time to eat at home, and when the whole family isn't sitting down to the table together anymore, many people wonder what the point is anyway. A lot of people just go to fast food places because it is what it is: fast. I think I went off on a tangeant there... but I hope you get my point. And also, I really want to thank you for saying "Natives". There are still a lot of people that refer to them as "Indians", even though we all know that title was put to rest for it's back reasons, and it bothers me to say the least. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Because I can't think of anything thoughtful or logical to ask, is your hair naturally straight? I used to straighten my hair when I was younger and now just let it go curly haha Morgan
Dear Morgan, My hair is naturally curly. Well, more wavy, actually. When I get out of the shower, I put my hair into a ponytail so it pulls my bangs straight, then the rest of my hair is allowed to go as curly as it wants. ^_^ Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, How often do you get stuck with Mephi? Is he fun to take care of? I'm thinking of getting a rabbit of my own, but I don't know too much about taking care of them....
Thanks!
Dear Lily, I would love to be "stuck" with Mephi more, if I could. I adore bunnies! They're very easy to take care of with the right knowledge, but you need to do a lot of research before you get one. They're nibblers, and will chew on anything and everything to keep their incisors at bay. Unless they're handled from a very young age, they can have cage aggression. With patience and treats they can be litter trained. All sorts of things need to be taken into consideration. If you have other animals, for instance, you need to consider that cats and dogs often view rabbits instinctually. They'll want to eat them. Which is obviously bad. You have to bunny proof your house - they'll chew on furniture (all of our couches are nibbled down) and especially power chords if you don't scare them away from it when they're little. They're also very susceptable to sickness. Easily prone to heart attack, and a disease called "Snuffles" (Pasteurella) which they can contract from cats (which is very, very dangerous.) My second bunny, Mika, contracted it and had to have a piece of his skull removed, and we left the hole open so that the infection could be kept at bay the rest of his life. So keep in mind that regardless of what others might say about rabbits being as easy as a hamster or guinea pig. They need a lot of exercise otherwise they can develop kidney and bladder stones which could kill them. They can't be left in the sun, same deal. And also, if you don't have the money to be buying him fresh vegetables every week, then I wouldn't recommend one. They need a lot of dark greens (not light lettuce - that's actually not good for them) such as Kale, Parsley, and Cilantro. Get books. Lots of books. Seriously. You need to know everything that you'll be facing before you get a bunny. You don't want to get one, discover you can't keep up, and then endanger the little guy's life. Just like any pet, a bunny is a huge responsibility, but a huge source of love if you can provide for them. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, What's your favorite dessert? Kit
Dear Kit, Mmmm... Anything with a dark chocolate ganache and a coffee flavour added in. Have you ever heard of Death By Chocolate? I love their "Latin Lover" and the "French Affair" (Note: the fact that one describes Alex and the other Erik is purely coincidental!) Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Hi Chelsey! :D I just wanted to say that i love your personality and what it adds to the RM crew. :) You kinda look like me! :D Which is coolio. Anyway I wanted to ask you, If you could be in any time period in all of history, which would you choose? I hope you have a wonderful day :)
Sincerely,
Dear Katrina, Hmm... Well, I would automatically say Ancient Egypt. 1525 BC precisely because I -- oh, or maybe during Hatshepsut's reign, because I'd love to meet a woman powerful enough to become pharoah. But that's the other logic, too... I'd be afraid to go back in history because with my personality, I probably would have been burnt at the stake. History has never been kind to women. My only other choice is the 1950's... just because I love the time period, and the Stepford wifesque atmosphere. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey,
What's your favorite pokemon? SoNotKryst
Dear Not Krystal, Mew and Skitty. I haven't played the new games though... I've been into Pokemon since when it first came out when I was already 14... and I've spent SO much money keeping up with the trend that I just dont' want to spend anymore money on the newer games. (They'll all be available to buy for like 5 bucks down the road anyway... so I'll wait until then) ...But I've always been a Team Rocket member at heart. Chelsey
Dear Not Krystal, I've been meaning to download the original series since one of my buddies has been pestering me to do so. But I haven't had the chance to see it yet. From what I can tell of the trailers, I'm definitely interested in seeing it! Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Hi, Chelsey! I'd just like to start with this: YOU ARE SO AWESOME! Your awesomeness shines in every single way, and don't ever let anyone tell you differently! Alright! Now that I've gotten my fangirl-ish gushing out of my system, I've got to ask: sci-fi or fantasy? Coral
Dear Coral, Sci-fi, baby! I absolutely love space and aliens and craziness! I love Mass Effect, and my favourite show of all time is Farscape. I'm also a huge fan of Lexx, but not a lot of people have heard of that one. I also play Halo sometimes too. It's great! Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, I noticed you didn't have that many questions, so i thought i would ask you one. What were you thinking when you found out that you kissed Erik instead of Alex at the Ball?
Not So Much Love, (P.S, And much more love from the girl that's typing S.A.M Night)
Dear TBG & S.A.M. Night, At first, I was pretty uspet with Erik. But I thought later that I was probably more upset with myself for being so easily fooled. I didn't think that Erik even wanted to go to the masquerade, and Alex had mentioned he was thinking of getting the red death costume... so I immediately just assumed that it was Alex. Then I just felt really bad that I hurt Alex's feelings... because he trusted me to recognize him... but... I don't know. There was a lot of champagne around, so I could blame it on that, but I would just be making excuses. Either way, I was embarrassed and I couldn't decide between being angry or hurt... Chelsey
Dear Chelsey,
Hi! I'd just like to ask a few questions. Where did you previously live before leaving to France? Lucy P.S. I absolutely love your hair. Its exactly like mine :]
Dear Lucy, I used to live in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. It's where I was born, and I was staying there after having moved back from Vancouver, BC, where I studied with Thanh, Heather and Azadeh. I don't think I'd do well with a little sister... I'm an only child and I'm pretty competitive with other kids. My kindergarten report card said "Does not play well with others." *laughs* Oh well... Plus, my mom and dad aren't together anymore, and neither of them want anymore kids. I can't eat eggs. They make me sick. :( Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Hello. My questions for you are, do you like Soul Eater, Claymore, Fate Stay Night, Hellsing, and/or Trigun? Have you ever gone to an anime convention, and have you ever cosplayed? Dragoon
Dear Dragoon, Of the ones you listed, I only like Hellsing and Trigun, because I've never heard of the other ones. I don't really like a lot of the newer animes. I'm more into the 80's and 90's ones. My favourite is Fushigi Yuugi. And yes, I frequent anime conventions. I've only dressed up once though, as Chichiri. My friend Lindsey went as Tasuki, and I even made her a real metal tessen. It was pretty fun. I think I went through 3 bottles of hairspray to get my bangs to stick up like Chichiri's. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Wat up girl!? You are absolutely the coolest gal in the whole gang! I must say, wayda go on the hotties, Erik and Alex (even though they are kinda the same). Who would you choose? -Ariel P.S. I won't tell anyone of your decision!
Dear Ariel, Well, Alex is my boyfriend, but he's been acting very strange lately... Erik and I are just friends as far as I know. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, I don't have a calculator near me and I saw one of your example questions, so I just wondered: What is the square root of 8320? Thank you so much, Liliana
Dear Liliana, The hell if I know! *laughs* I just sold my T-150 thingy... And they don't have a square root function on the calculator on my laptop... Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, What's your opinion on the Epic Rap Battles Of History by NicePeter on youtube? Samantha
Dear Samantha, Ehh... I watched three episodes, since I've never heard of it before now, and unfortunately I'm not impressed. It's got it's funny moments, but the rapping is kinda' poorly written (and doesn't match the rhythms very well in some cases) so I don't really think it's my cup o' tea. Plus, even though I swear a lot, I think it could have been pulled off without all the mother f--kers and what-not. That was a bit excessive. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Have you heard of an upcoming movie called "A Monster in Paris"? If so, what do you think about it? (It hasn't been released yet, but everyone is already talking about it and drawing fanart for it). Basically, it's about a giant flea that can sing and dance. He lives in a garden and falls in love with a cabaret singer AND it's set it in 1910. It's sort of a mix between Beauty and the Beast / The Phantom of the Opera (so everyone says). It looks interesting because it IS a French film that will be dubbed in English for the American audience. Anyway, if you have at least seen the trailer, do you think it will be good?
Sincerly,
Dear Alexis, I think it'll be good. You know why? Because the more stupid I think a movie looks, the better it is. It just seems to be a fact of life for me. I thought Despicable Me was going to be a waste of time. I bawled. I thought MegaMind was going to be ...well, it just looked like they slapped it together to try to make more money off the Shrek franchise... But I ended up enjoying that too. Since I think this one is going to be just another Phantom rip-off... It's probably going to be splendid just to spite me. Chelsey
Dear Chelsey, Hey Chelsey!!! So I started college today and one of my assignments is to scribble and draw shapes (cool right?). This might sound stupid but HOW DO YOU SCRIBBLE!!!! I mean I know how but it's hard!!! They brain wash you at birth to color between the lines. How do I get into the habbit of scribbling when it fustates me so?
Your Friend P.s. Where's the 'ask everyone option'?
Dear Brittany, The ask everyone option was removed -- there were journals both on DA and an explanation on the top of the everyone answers page explaining why it was closed. People were getting lazy and overusing the ask everyone option - so there were only ask everyone questions in the last batch. They also ended up getting deleted by an unfortunate glitch. But we all talked about it and we do not really want to answer everyone questions anymore. We tend to ramble and have a hard time keeping it together to do so. Plus, it takes up a lot of time. As for scribbling, there's a trick you can do to get your mind to open up. Grab a big sheet of paper, two different coloured pens/markers, and putting one in each hand, draw using both hands. Nothing specific, just let your brain flow. This activates both halves of the brain, your logical and your artistic. Chelsey
